About Dr. Kromka
Dr. Kromka founded Denver Ketamine Clinic for a specific group of patients: adults whose depression has not responded to several medications and who are weighing ketamine-based treatment without a clear guide to the difference between SPRAVATO® and ketamine therapy. His approach to that decision is the same one he brings to every evaluation — the person's symptoms understood in full context, the options laid out with their evidence and their costs, and a shared decision rather than a sales conversation.
His training spans the range of interventional psychiatry — ECT, ketamine and esketamine, and TMS — alongside psychotherapy, medication management, and the lifestyle factors that shape recovery. At the Washington Park clinic that breadth matters practically: a patient evaluated for ketamine-based treatment who turns out to be a better candidate for TMS, or for a medication change, gets that recommendation from the same physician in the same visit.
Outside the clinic Dr. Kromka spends his free time in the mountains — hiking, backpacking, and snowboarding — and also enjoys golf, scuba diving, travel, trying new foods, and time with friends, family, and his three cats.
