  • Psychiatrist-Supervised
  • Insurance Accepted for SPRAVATO® and TMS
  • TMS in the Same Clinic

Every patient is evaluated by a psychiatrist, every session is monitored, and insurance is accepted for SPRAVATO® and TMS. Consultations are usually available within days.

Two forms of ketamine treatment, one clinic

There are two ways ketamine-based treatment is offered for depression, and they are not the same thing. SPRAVATO® is esketamine, an FDA-approved nasal spray that many insurance plans cover and that must be given in a certified clinic. Ketamine therapy uses the medication ketamine itself, which is not FDA-approved for depression and is prescribed off-label, usually on a self-pay basis. We offer both, explain the difference plainly, and help you decide which — if either — fits your situation.

Frequently asked questions

Is ketamine therapy covered by insurance?

Ketamine therapy for depression is off-label and is rarely covered by insurance, so it is generally self-pay. SPRAVATO®, the FDA-approved esketamine nasal spray, is covered by many plans when their criteria are met. We check your benefits for both before you decide.

What is the difference between ketamine and SPRAVATO®?

SPRAVATO® contains esketamine, one component of ketamine, and is FDA-approved for treatment-resistant depression when given in a certified clinic. Ketamine therapy uses ketamine itself and is prescribed off-label. Both are given under supervision here; your psychiatrist will explain which is appropriate for you.

Can I drive after a session?

No. Both ketamine therapy and SPRAVATO® require that someone drive you home after each session and that you avoid driving until the next day.

Do I need a referral?

No referral is needed to schedule an evaluation. If you have a therapist or prescriber, we are glad to coordinate your file with them with your permission.
